Spanish Expulsion
1492
As part of the Spanish Inquisition, Jews were expelled by law. They were forced to liquidate their property for low prices, were killed with the justification of outrageous rumours and thrown into the ocean during transit. Jews who fled to Turkey were treated the best, while Jews who fled to Portugal were expelled again shortly after, though almost all of them were forcefully converted to Christianity instead of actual expulsion.
