I am excited to share an update on the incredible experience our students just had on their 10-day Birthright trip! Since their arrival last Monday, the students have been immersed in a journey filled with meaningful connections, eye-opening experiences, and unforgettable moments. From exploring Jerusalem’s Old City to floating in the Dead Sea, hiking Masada at sunrise, Yad Vashem and Har Herzl, and engaging in thought-provoking discussions, they have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and curiosity.
One of the highlights of the trip was the time spent with Israeli peers, allowing the students to build personal connections and gain deeper insights into Israeli culture. They also had the chance to visit key historical and cultural sites, experiencing firsthand the vibrancy and complexity of life in Israel. It has been inspiring to see how each student has engaged with the experience in their own unique way.
Over the weekend we will be having our opening seminar in Yerushalayim getting to know each other which will lead us into our next stage on Limmud - Kibbutz! For the coming month we will be in Kibbutz Ein Hanatziv doing agricultural work, learning Hebrew with ulpan, learning Torah, getting to know each other better and immersing ourselves into the Israeli lifestyle.
