Torani Program
Shira is Rosh Desk England and Head of the MTA and Torani gap-year programs at World Bnei Akiva, two of our torani progames.
Originally from England, Shira has been involved in Bnei Akiva from the young age of 7, first as a chanicha going to her snif in manchester every week, later becoming a madricha and then Rosh following that she was Sganit of Salford Bnei Akiva and Rosh of “Leeds Bnei Akiva” she also went on all winter and summer Machanot in the UK, later went on the Torani Hachsharot program at Midreshet Harova herself in 5777.
Shira’s professional background is extensive including; holding a bachelors in Hons Playwork and Childhood Development, She worked on the Bnei Akiva UK Mazkirut as Camps and social action worker in 5781 and then worked on the Bnei Akiva UK Mazkirut as Israel and Sixth form worker after making her aliya in 2022 she joined the Torini program first as the Rakezet Chinuchit and later becoming the Head of Program Today, Shira lives in Jerusalem.
She speaks both English and Hebrew.
Shira has been part of World Bnei Akiva since 2022.
